Built to fix something that needed fixing.

Teiro exists because the people who coordinate care shouldn’t have to spend half their week on administrative friction. The work is too important for that.

Our mission

Care coordination in Australia runs on goodwill — coordinators working overtime, carers covering gaps, managers holding the whole thing together through sheer effort and local knowledge. The tools have not kept up with the work.

Teiro’s mission is straightforward: give care providers a platform that actually fits the way they operate. Not a generic workforce tool with a few tweaks. Not a compliance system with a tacked-on scheduler. A platform built from the ground up for the care sector — that handles the operational complexity so care teams can focus on the people they support.

Who this is for

Teiro is built for operations managers, care coordinators, and compliance leads at Australian disability, aged care, and community health providers. Specifically, the organisations where:

  • Rostering still happens in a spreadsheet — or four competing spreadsheets
  • Carers hear about shift changes through a WhatsApp group
  • Compliance documentation is pulled together in a panic before every audit
  • A coordinator's institutional knowledge is the only thing keeping the system running

These organisations aren’t failing. Many of them are doing excellent work for their clients. But they’re working harder than they should have to — because the tools available to them were designed for other industries, or built for enterprise budgets their 30-person operation can’t justify.

Typical organisation size: 10–500 care staff. Disability support providers, home care and community health organisations, aged care operators.

The person who buys Teiro is usually the Operations Manager or General Manager — someone who knows the organisation’s pain points intimately and has tried to solve them with a combination of spreadsheets, apps, and force of will.

The person who uses Teiro every day is the coordinator — often the most overworked person in the organisation. Teiro is built to give them their time back.

Where Teiro came from

Teiro is a new product. We won’t pretend it has a decade of history.

What it does have is a clear origin: the people who built it spent time alongside care coordinators, operations managers, and compliance leads — watching how they actually worked, not how a software vendor assumed they worked.

The recurring finding was frustrating in its simplicity: the hardest part of running a care organisation wasn’t the care itself. It was the coordination — the scheduling, the communication, the documentation, the compliance checks. And that coordination was mostly happening in tools designed for completely different purposes.

Teiro was built to fix that specific problem. No more, no less.

We are still early. We are learning from every provider who uses the platform. We are building quickly and staying close to the sector we serve. If you work in care and have thoughts on what’s missing or wrong — we genuinely want to hear from you.

How we work

Plain English.

We don't use jargon in our product, our marketing, or with each other. If something is hard to explain simply, it's usually because it isn't simple enough yet.

Close to the work.

We talk to care coordinators, carers, and operations managers regularly — not as user research sessions, but as ongoing conversations. The people using Teiro know things we don't. That knowledge shapes every release.

Serious about the sector.

Disability support, aged care, and community health are not 'verticals' to us. They are sectors where the quality of the tools matters in ways that extend beyond business efficiency. We take that seriously.

Build for trust.

Carers rely on Teiro to know where they're going and when. Coordinators rely on it to know their team is safe. Compliance leads rely on it when a regulator asks hard questions. That trust has to be earned in the product first — before any marketing claim.

Honest about what we are.

We are a new product company. We do not have all the answers. We will make mistakes and we will fix them. We won't pretend to be something we're not to win a deal.
