Assigning a carer to a job

Find the right carer for a job using availability, qualifications, and preference matching.

Matching the right carer to a job is the core function of Teiro's scheduler. The system surfaces relevant carers automatically.

Carer suggestions

When you open the assignment panel for a job, Teiro suggests carers based on:

  • Availability at the required time
  • Matching qualifications for the service type
  • Existing relationship with the customer (preferred carers)
  • Geographic proximity

Manual assignment

You can also search for any carer by name and assign them directly. A warning appears if there's a conflict or qualification gap.

Notifying the carer

Once assigned, the carer receives a push notification on the Teiro mobile app. You can also opt to send an SMS for critical shifts.

Reassignment

To reassign a job, open the job detail and select a new carer. The previous carer is notified of the change automatically.
