What's New in Teiro: March 2026

22 Mar 2026by Kate Morrison5 min read

Reporting, audit logs, voice-to-text job notes, automated missed check-in detection, and more. Here is what landed in Teiro this sprint and what it means for your care organisation.

A lot landed this sprint

Over the past few weeks the Teiro platform has grown substantially. This post covers the most impactful changes for operations managers, care coordinators, and compliance leads at NDIS and aged care providers.

These are not incremental tweaks. Several of them directly address the compliance and accountability gaps that come up in almost every conversation we have with care organisations running on spreadsheets or legacy tools.

Reporting suite

Eight reports are now built into Teiro, organised into two groups.

Operational reports tell you what is happening on the ground:

  • Job Delivery Summary -- jobs delivered vs scheduled, by service type and date range
  • Carer Hours -- total hours per carer, filterable by period and service type
  • Customer Service Delivery -- service delivery history per participant, useful for plan reviews

Compliance and financial reports give you the audit-ready picture:

  • Qualification Compliance -- every carer, every required credential, every expiry date, with RAG status
  • Incident Register -- structured incident log with categories, severity, and resolution status
  • Budget Utilisation -- funded hours and spend against plan budgets
  • Invoice Payment Status -- outstanding invoices and payment tracking
  • PRODA Claim Readiness -- flags jobs that are ready to claim vs those missing required information

All reports support date-range filtering, sortable columns, and CSV export. They are available to admins and schedulers with the right permissions, and the data is live -- no manual refresh, no emailed spreadsheets.

For coordinators who currently produce these views by hand on a Monday morning, this is a significant time saving. For compliance leads preparing for a quality audit, it means the evidence is already structured and exportable.

Qualification and credential tracking

Every carer now has a structured qualifications profile in Teiro. You record the credential, the issue date, and the expiry date. Teiro tracks it from there.

Supported credentials include NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children, Police Check, First Aid/CPR, and any custom qualification your organisation requires. Expiry alerts fire automatically at 60, 30, and 7 days before a credential lapses.

The Qualification Compliance report gives you the full cross-section at any point in time: who is compliant, who has something expiring soon, and who has a gap. This is the view that takes the longest to produce manually before an audit.

At the assignment level, Teiro checks qualifications when you assign a carer to a job. If a required certification is missing or expired, the system flags it before the job goes live -- not after the shift has been delivered.

Audit log

Every create, update, and delete action in Teiro is now logged with a full before/after diff. The audit log is available at two levels:

  • Record level -- the history tab on any individual record shows exactly what changed, when, and who made the change
  • Organisation level -- admins can view the full activity log across all records, with filters by record type, user, and date range

Both views support CSV export. This is the kind of evidence trail that quality auditors and NDIS commission reviewers expect to see. Previously this required either a purpose-built compliance system or a painful manual reconstruction from emails and notes. It is now automatic.

Voice-to-text job notes

Carers working in the field can now record job notes by voice. The recording is transcribed and then cleaned into a structured, professional care note. The carer reviews the result and submits.

The practical effect: carers who find it hard to type detailed notes on a phone between clients can now capture a full account of the visit in 30 seconds. The resulting note reads as a professional care record, not a dictation transcript.

This matters for NDIS documentation. Support workers are required to keep contemporaneous records of the supports they deliver. Voice-to-text lowers the barrier to doing that well.

Automated missed check-in detection

If a carer has not checked in to a job within 30 minutes of the scheduled start, Teiro now marks the job automatically as a missed check-in and flags it for coordinator review. No manual monitoring required.

For organisations managing large rosters across multiple locations, this closes a real accountability gap. Coordinators currently find out about missed shifts when a participant or family member calls -- or they do not find out at all until the end of the week. Automated detection means the flag is raised while there is still time to act.

User management

Admins can now manage the full team lifecycle from within Teiro: invite new users by email, assign roles, manage entitlements at a granular level, suspend accounts, and resend invitations for users who have not yet completed setup.

Previously this required back-channel communication with the Teiro team for some operations. It is now fully self-service for admins.

Org settings

A new settings screen covers six configuration areas: organisation profile, billing details, notification preferences, NDIS-specific settings, branding, and travel settings. Each section saves independently -- you do not have to submit the entire form to change one thing.

What this adds up to

Individually, each of these features addresses a specific pain point. Together, they move the platform from a scheduling and communications tool to something that handles the full compliance and accountability layer of running a care organisation.

If you are currently managing qualifications in a spreadsheet, reconstructing audit evidence from email threads, or finding out about missed shifts the hard way -- this sprint is directly relevant to you.
