Estimated claimable amount
This item supports short notice cancellation claims (90% of agreed support cost).
This is the maximum claimable amount, not the negotiated rate. Always verify against the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements.
How NDIS shift pricing works
Unlike the SCHADS Award (which uses a multiplier system), NDIS pricing uses separate line items for different shift timings. A weekday daytime support item has a different item number — and different price limit — from the same support delivered on a Saturday evening.
Price limits, not pay rates
NDIS price limits are the maximum amount a registered provider can claim from a participant's plan. They are not the worker's wage. The difference between the NDIS price limit and the worker's SCHADS Award rate covers on-costs, overheads, management, and provider margin.
State and remote variations
Most NDIS support items have the same price in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, and WA. Remote (MMM 6) and Very Remote (MMM 7) locations attract higher price limits to account for the additional cost of service delivery in those areas.
Quote-required items
Some NDIS supports — particularly high-complexity or individualised supports — are provider-negotiated and are not shown in this estimator. These items appear as "Quote" in the price catalogue and require a service agreement with the participant before claiming.
Common questions
Can I claim more than the price limit?
No. NDIS price limits are the maximum a registered provider may charge a participant. You may charge less if agreed with the participant, but not more.
Are these prices current for 2025-26?
Yes. The prices shown are from the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2025-26, effective 1 July 2025, with the November 2025 update applied. Always verify against the current NDIS document before submitting a claim.
What is the difference between Remote and Very Remote?
NDIS uses the Modified Monash Model (MMM) to classify remoteness. MMM 6 is Remote and MMM 7 is Very Remote. Providers in these areas can claim higher price limits to offset delivery costs.
Why doesn't my support category show results for some timings?
Not all support categories have separate line items for every shift timing. Some categories only have a single line item regardless of when the support is delivered. For those, select "Weekday Daytime" or browse the full catalogue.
What is a short notice cancellation?
If a participant cancels a support within 2 business days (or 7 days for certain supports), the provider may claim 90% of the agreed support cost as a short notice cancellation. Not all items are eligible.
