STA And Assistance (Inc. Respite) - 1:2 - Public Holiday
Still claimable until 30 June 2027
This item moved to the NDIS 2026‑27 legacy support item list on 1 July 2026. It is not in the current support item list, but it can still be claimed for supports delivered up to and including 30 June 2027. After that date you must use the replacement items below.
Short Term Accommodation is no longer claimed as a bundled 1:2 daily rate.
This item packaged support and accommodation into a single public holiday day rate at a 1:2 staffing ratio. From 1 July 2026 the ratio is no longer part of the item code. Claim the hourly Short Term Accommodation rate for the matching day type instead, and claim participant and support worker accommodation as separate items. Use the High Intensity variants (01_252 to 01_257) where the participant's needs meet that threshold.
What to claim instead
Use these current 2026-27 support items for supports delivered after 30 June 2027. Check the unit of measure, it may differ from the item you were claiming.
