SCHADS Pay Rates 2025‑26 — Archived Calculator

Historical SCHADS Award (MA000100) social and community services employee (clause 15) minimum pay rates for the 2025‑26 financial year, operative from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2025. These rates were superseded on 1 July 2026. This page is kept online for back-pay calculations, timesheet reconciliation, Fair Work audits, and enterprise agreement comparisons that reference the 2025‑26 award year. This page does not cover home care employees, who are paid under clause 17 and have different rates.

Penalty rates that applied in 2025‑26

Penalty multipliers did not change at the Annual Wage Review 2026 — only the base rates moved. The multipliers below applied in 2025‑26 and still apply today.

  • Saturday ordinary hours: 150% of the base rate
  • Sunday ordinary hours: 200% of the base rate
  • Public holiday, permanent and part-time: 250% of the base rate
  • Public holiday, casual: 275% of the ordinary rate
  • Weekday afternoon shift (finishing between 8pm and midnight): 112.5%
  • Weekday night shift (starting before 6am or finishing after midnight): 115%

Allowances that applied in 2025‑26

  • Broken shift, one unpaid break: $20.82 per shift (cl. 20.12(a))
  • Broken shift, two unpaid breaks: $27.56 per shift (cl. 20.12(b))
  • Sleepover: $60.02 per night (cl. 25.7(d))
  • Vehicle, own car: $0.99 per kilometre (cl. 20.7(a))
