How to Export Last Month's Travel Logs to Check Worker Mileage in Teiro
An admin opens Reports, Travel log, exports last month's trips to Excel for one worker, and adds up the kilometres to compare with the worker's invoice. The Last month window moves forward on its own and shows the exact dates it covers.

What this recording shows
This is a roughly 77 second screen recording of an admin checking a support worker's kilometre claim in Teiro, the care management platform used by Australian NDIS and aged care providers. It was recorded on a desktop browser, on the real product, using the demo organisation's trips from September. The invoice figure of 18.5 km is an example.
The problem
A worker's invoice claims 18.5 km for the month. Before paying it, the admin wants to see what the worker actually logged in the app.
Open the Travel log report and tap Export
Travel log sits in the Operations group on the Reports screen. It exports every trip logged in a period, with its kilometres, who drove it and who it was for. Tapping Export at the top right opens the Export sheet.
Choose Excel and Last month
The Export sheet offers CSV, Excel (XLSX) or PDF. In this recording the admin chooses Excel. Under Covers, the admin keeps the Moving window option and picks Last month. A moving window works out its own dates every time, so next month the same choice covers the new last month without anyone changing a date. The sheet spells out the exact dates it covers, here Tuesday 1 September to Wednesday 30 September 2026, and counts the rows before anything is exported: with no filters, 12 trips.
Filter to the worker on the invoice
Change filters opens the filter sheet. It can narrow the export by worker, customer, trip type, vehicle type or how the distance was worked out. Choosing the worker named on the invoice and applying the filter brings the count down to 4 rows.
Export and download
Export XLSX builds the file. The sheet confirms the file name, which includes the dates it covers, and shows how many exports are left today. Download saves the workbook to the computer.
Add up the trips and compare
Each row in the file is one trip: the date, the type of trip (travel to client or transporting client), where it started and ended, the distance and the worker. In this recording the four trips total 16.1 km against 18.5 km claimed, which leaves 2.4 km to ask the worker about. The table on screen shows the cells of the downloaded file with the total, the invoice figure and the difference added underneath, the way an admin would in a spreadsheet.
